The Tipis

The Tipis at Riley Green are located in the idyllic Lancashire countryside set in an eight acre private site amongst mature oak trees.  Riley Green Meadows has been turned in to a truly spectacular space from a simple grazing meadow; we have created the perfect wedding venue with beautiful countryside surroundings and picturesque views.

 

We specialise in bespoke weddings and events.  Our wedding and events team will be on hand to assist and guide you in planning the perfect day.  A unique event in our tipis will be tailored exactly to your requirements, creating lasting memories for everyone.

 

Whether you are looking for small and intimate or large and lavish we can create the picture-perfect day down to the every tiny little detail.  Appointments are available to come and view the Tipis at your convenience and we are certain you will not be disappointed!

Outside catering is not permitted, however both caterers are flexible on catering options they can offer from traditional 3 course wedding breakfasts or more relaxed menus such as BBQ, pizza, street food, sharing platters etc, they can also offer completely bespoke menus to your specific requirements.

What If It Rains?

Our tipis are crafted here in the UK and bear the Made In Britain Marque, they are manufactured using the latest construction techniques using the very best materials on the market making them the strongest manufactured tipis available.  They are full durable and provide warmth in the winter, coolness in the summer, and are completely dry when it rains. If the sun is out we can raise the panoramic sides of the tipis.

The Tipis have solid wooden flooring throughout providing a strong and firm ground so you don’t need to worry about those heels being stuck in the ground.

Heating

We provide, as standard heaters for the cooler months.

How many guests can we accommodate

We can seat up to 120 guests for the daytime & 220 for the evening reception or an informal event

Can we view the Tipis?

Yes we can arrange a private viewing at your convenience, please contact us to book in.

Disabled Facilities

We have a designated disabled toilet onsite

Bar

At the tipis we have a fabulous 9ft circular bar complete with staff, fully stocked with draught beers, bottled beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks.

 

Unfortunately we do not allow corkage

Car Parking

We have a designated car park with facilities for over 40 cars which can be left overnight securely.

Fireworks/Confetti

Unfortunately due to our beautiful scenic surroundings and location we cannot allow fireworks which may distress live stock in neighbouring fields and it is not permitted due to our insurance, however we do allow sparklers & biodegradable confetti outside.

Can we legally get married here?

Yes the Tipis are a licensed venue.

Indoor & outdoor ceremonies areas available

If you choose to have your ceremony at the Tipis, you are required to book a Registrar directly yourself.

Do i need a wedding planner or on the day management?

Our in house wedding team will guide and help you to plan the perfect day, we also work with many local and reputable suppliers.  We are happy to assist with any organising and planning and will be there on the day to look after you and your guests, which is part of our service.

When are you open

We are open from May – September, however when the Tipis close for the winter our team is still working  from our office onsite during this period.

Are you pet friendly?

Yes! all fury friends are welcome onsite

How much is a deposit to secure a date?

We take a deposit of £1000.00 to secure your date initially

  • A second deposit of £1000.00 is due 6 months after your inital deposit
  • A Third deposit of £1000.00 is due 6 months prior to your date
  • Final balance is due 6 weeks prior to your date
